Quick Fire Questions & Answer

Why was I referred?

You have been recognised as someone who wants to build confidence, learn basic digital skills, or explore earning online in a safe and supportive environment.

How long are the sessions?

Each session is personalised to your individual needs. Scheduled phone or online meetings usually last around 15–20 minutes, with 30 minutes as a maximum.
The support is offered over 6–8 simple steps, but everyone moves at their own pace. Some people may already have completed certain stages when they begin. There is no pressure to continue if it doesn’t feel right for you.

Do I have to start a business?

No. There is no obligation to start a business. If you decide this isn’t right for you, you can stop at any time.

Will this affect my benefits?

No. This service does not affect your benefits in any way.

Is this confidential?

Yes. No personal information is stored or shared.

Who is this for?

This free, one‑to‑one support programme is for people who want to explore earning online but don’t know where to start.

It is designed for individuals who:

  • Have low digital confidence
  • Have little or no money to invest
  • Feel overwhelmed by online tools
  • Need patient, step‑by‑step support
  • Struggle to access traditional business support
  • Prefer practical learning rather than theory

Who it helps

We specialise in supporting people who are:

  • Long‑term unemployed
  • Carers
  • Women returning to work
  • People with low digital literacy
  • Anyone who feels they “don’t know enough” to start

What we do

We provide friendly online support using video calls, messaging, and simple digital tools to help you:

  • Understand basic online income options
  • Build essential digital skills
  • Set up simple tools (email, Canva, profiles, etc.)
  • Create your first small online offer
  • Take first steps toward earning
  • Build confidence and reduce overwhelm
  • Learn at your own pace

Sessions are gentle, supportive, and tailored to each individual.

What we don’t do

  • We do not provide formal business training
  • We do not offer financial or legal advice
  • We do not replace employability programmes
  • We do not provide paid employment
  • We do not guarantee income
  • We do not require commitment or paperwork

We complement — not replace — existing support services.
If you need formal business training, financial advice, or employability support, I can help signpost you to the appropriate organisations.

Why organisations refer to us

Partner organisations refer people because we:

  • Fill a gap in early‑stage digital confidence building
  • Offer patient, one‑to‑one support that larger programmes cannot
  • Help people who don’t feel “ready” for mainstream services
  • Build confidence, independence, and basic digital capability
  • Provide a completely free and accessible option

If you recognise yourself in any of the above and feel anxious, stuck, or left behind in the digital world, I’d be very happy to support you.

Book a free, no‑obligation 1‑to‑1 session to talk things through and see if this support is right for you.
